FIU's best ranked recruit right now, Korvic Neat from Hallandale High, is starting to get looks from bigger programs. Really hope he sticks with us, he's rated as an 80 by ESPN and has 4.3 speed. Hopefully he pulls a TY Hilton (who turned down WVU and UF) and sticks with us. The two of them could make a ridiculous offense in the Sun Belt.

FIU is currently 4th in the Sun Belt (FAU is ahead on overall record) and not projected to make a bowl. However, if FIU wins its next two games (including vs FAU) the chances of making the papajohns.com bowl go way up.

Looks like the Sun Belt will get three teams in bowls as the SEC is not as strong bowl wise as expected.

Navy is the only team so far that has accepted a bowl bid (EagleBank Bowl on 12/20).

Man, fau is going to be a lot tougher than I thoughtthey would be... Just beat ull pretty handily, and the offense is getting on track.

That said, we match up extremely well with teams that pass the ball well. The teams we struggle with are those that can push us around up front. Not to look too far ahead, but ulm shouldn't be too difficult. If I recall correctly, they lost their entire offensive line from last year.

How many were they supposed to get in?

Bowl eligible: Florida, Georgia, Vandy, South Carolina, Kentucky, Bama, LSU, Ole Miss

Auburn would be with a win at Bama (lol)

just saying, maybe it was expected that Tennessee and Auburn would go bowling, but Vandy and Ole Miss made up for that

Other than UF, any team in the ACC could beat any team in the SEC on any day

Ninth ranked Clemson vs. Alabama

Alabama and Georgia are still better than anyone in the ACC. The rest of the SEC and the ACC as a whole suck.

The Big East vs. ACC Orange Bowl will be funny though. It just sucks to reward such assy teams with a lot of deserving mid-majors. Once the Canes are good again in a year or two the conference will deserve the respect. Also I heard an SEC chant at the game. It was so gay.
