ESPN has NIU vs. FIU in the Independence bowl......Junior vs. all of the Golden Panthers board.

Man, FIU making a bowl game would be incredible. I would definitely drive up to Louisiana for that.

Sorry, I could probably look this up but I don't feel like it. When did the Sun Belt get a tie in with the Independence Bowl? This is the first year I assume. Is it an auto Sun Belt bid or will a Sun Belt team only be there is another conference cannot supply a team?

We have one automatic bid for the New Orleans Bowl, and then this season we picked up three more tie-ins with the Independence, St Petersburg, and one other that I can't remember. It is only if the other conferences can't supply them.

Feldman has the BCS taking Boise State over us.

Obviously, he doesn't understand how the system works.

They deserve it more...we'd go.
