Uggggghhhhhh
Mark Schlabach's article this week asking if Texas is actually tested:
(probably based on SEC total defense #s; this oughtta be retarded to everyone but fip- so Texas isnt tested because theyve beaten highly ranked Big 12 teams and SEC teams are tested because they dont score on each other) |

I had written anything above the Rose Bowl off, but hell, if we can beat Penn State, we're right back in this thing with a remaining schedule of Illinois, Northwestern, Michigan.
I think basically every one else in the picture would need 2 losses for them to let us get in though. |

1. Texas - not even a question
2. Alabama - destroyed Georgia in their place 3. Penn State - can't put them above Alabama when they lack a win the caliber of that GA win 4. Oklahoma - only loss is to the best team in the country in a neck-and-neck awesome game 5. Oklahoma State - unbeaten, nice win over Mizzou 6. USC - That loss to Oregon State is unacceptable. 7. Ohio State - Only looked really good once. Won't matter if they win Saturday. 8. Florida - They've looked better than Ohio State, but OSU lost to the #1 team in the country at the time on the road, Florida lost to Ole Miss. 9. Boise State 10. Utah I find it hilarious that Texas Tech is ranked above Boise and Utah just because they're in the Big 12. Utah's played a tougher schedule than Tech so far and Boise beat Oregon, which is a better win than anything Tech's done. Nice wins by Tech over 2 FCS schools, SMU, Nevada, and 3 of the bad teams in the Big 12. |
