Default 2008 Ford Ironman World Championship

The 2008 Ford Ironman World Championship will take place in Kona, Hawaii tomorrow. As many of you probably know, Jeff Conine will be participating in this grueling event. I ran a marathon in 2006 in San Diego and I can't even begin to understand starting to run a marathon (26.2 miles) after swimming 2.4 miles and biking 112 miles.

Just qualifying for this event is a great accomplishment. You can track Jeff's progress here

Best of luck tomorrow Jeff!

Yeah, the elite athletes in this are just mind boggling and inspiring.

I'm training for a top 10 finish in a local half marathon and its kicking my ass. Its beyond comprehension for me to think about the work these guys put in.
