NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports that Marc Bulger will be benched this week for Trent Green.
No other details are available yet, so we'll see if Bulger is healthy. If he is, this is a desperate move by a desperate team, and we doubt it will go well. Green is below league average as a starter and is unlikely to ignite this offense. Bulger signed a big contract last year, but his future with the organization is now. Fantasy owners should get the news confirmed, then feel free to drop him. Sep. 23 - 12:07 pm et

Coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Willie Parker has been ruled out for Monday night's game with a sprained knee.
Parker struggled in Week 3 and suffered the injury late in the game, but continued to play. Tomlin gave no indication about how long he's expected to be sidelined, but being ruled out so early in the week probably isn't a good sign. Rashard Mendenhall will start against the Ravens, which is a highly unfavorable matchup

I've been a fan of the Rams the last eight years, even sticking it out with the 3-13 record last year but this may be the last straw. I will not follow the Rams again until I hear that Linehan has been fired. I'm hoping the benching of the highest paid player on the team along with the comments from the owner last week will do that.

Linehan and Green are both complete idiots, but if Green wants to put his own future in jeopardy so be it.

Yea, I mean from what I have been seeing Bulger is literally pressured on every play if not on his back. The line is terrible, not to mention no real #2 WR to keep the double team off of Holt. I don't see how Trent Green is going to fix any of this. Linehan is toast.

The Rams are basically saying, who better to get their brains bashed in behind our shitty o-line than a guy whose brains are already bashed in?

I really wasn't looking forward to the Rams-Bills game before...but the chance to watch someone literally die on the field has aroused my sense of morbid curiosity.

I'm still so mad at this move that I can't even see straight. Add the Marlins getting eliminated from the playoffs (by the Nationals, nonetheless) to Bulger's benching and I've had one of the worst days of being a sports fan in a while.

Per ESPN

Matt Millen fired from GM position.

Damn, I was hoping we could trade Teddy Ginn for their first round pick before he left.

Plaxico Burress is suspended for two weeks, but since this week is a bye does that mean he's suspended from the bye and for the next week? Basically meaning he's gonna miss one game but miss two weeks pay or will he miss the two games following the bye?

Yea, he doesn't get paid for 2 weeks including the bye. He will only miss week 5's game.

I'm glad the Pats have a bye this week, and I'm hoping that the utter horsefuck defense that the Pats played last week was the result of the successful new looks in the Wildhog formation that the Dolphins gave them. I'm also interested in seeing if the Wildhog formation will still work for the Dolphins now that they've put it out there for the entire league to study.

According to Sparano, they haven't even scratched the surface of how many plays they could run with that formation.
