Default General Fantasy Football Discussion

So I finally had my draft tonight...My team is a ton better than what I had last year:

It has a QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, Flex, TE, K, Def

Derek Anderson
Joseph Addai
Edgerrin James
Reggie Wayne
Greg Jennings
Tony Sheffler
Robbie Gould
...didn't pick a defense, will grab one before next Sunday

on the bench I have:

Justin Fargas
Chris Perry
Ahmad Bradshaw
Kolby Lewis
Ladell Betts
John Kitna
Patrick Crayton
Antwaan Randle El

Obviously I have a lot of RB's on my team. They'll get filtered out eventually.

Pick up Tim Hightower and get rid of Kolby Lewis.

So...in a terrible choice of options, should I start Patrick Crayton (vs Cle) or Justin Fargas (vs Den) at the flex position?

I meant to start Randle El there, but totally forgot they were playing early to start the season.

I'm pretty much screwed this week.

I'm feeling really good about my money league team with the RB tandem of Willie Parker and Brian Westbrook.

I got auto-drafted Willie Parker in all 3 of my leagues (pre-ranked my players), and I'm totally loving it right now. 25 carries, 138 yards, 3 TDs. And they're up big heading into the 4th so you know he's gonna add to that total. Leading all of my teams to week 1 victories, baby.

I've had a crappy day so far in my money league. Jones-Drew, Colston and Roddy White all duds today. 17 points out of Randy but that would've been more with Brady. Brees ended up with a decent enough day, so that helps. I've got Selvin Young going tomorrow, he has Romo right now and Peterson tomorrow. I is fucked.

I'm up now too with Fitzy and Vinny Jackson and he has Winslow and Selvin Young and my lead is collapsing.

Well I think Russell will get a lot of yards, but Ryan seems sexy there.

I like Ryan's upside but he's playing at TB next week. Atlanta's offense looks legit with Turner keeping the D honest.

Depending on how long Brady will be out, your best bet is probably to go with the best matchup for the week. But long-term I think Ryan will be the best bet. But who knows, we'll see what Russell does tonight.
