I wanted to root so hard for Big Brown but that trainer really got to me (or was it the owner)

anyway, Big Brown got absolutely worked by the field

last second I threw some money on Big Brown not to win at 3:1.... really happy I did

I think it had a lot to do with the injury, just because they mentioned the training died down a bit while they worked on it. I usually only watch the big races, though, so I really don't know enough about the sport to form a proper opinion on that.

Pretty disappointed to see Big Brown not pull it off, but the horse's safety is much more important. I wish I did have money on the winner though. Damn good odds.
