Marlins Shut Down Kevin Gregg
 Kevin Gregg, who blew his ninth save last week, is likely to sit out at least the next week because of a sore left knee. The Marlins have been letting him pitch through the problem for some time, but as poorly as he's performed as late, the decision was made to shut him down for now. Manager Fredi Gonzalez indicated that Matt Lindstrom would be the favorite for saves for now, with Arthur Rhodes potentially getting chances against left-handed hitters. Joe Nelson wasn't mentioned, but he still might be an option as well. Let's say I believe them, and Gregg's been having knee problems for a while...
So, they've been putting out a pitcher with a bad knee and because of that essentially eliminated us from the race? Any way you slice it, they fucked up.

Im under the impression Gregg went to someone and said, Youve gotta stop doing thiS!!!! ITS HORRIBLE!!!! I CANT STOP WHAT IM DOING TO MY TEAMMATES, ONLY YOU CAN END THIS....

im not very happy about him just trying to 'fight' thru it and posting an 0-4 record the past 7 starts and leading the league in blown saves. pinto and gregg have dug us a hole with these mysterious injuries

I hate how some players confuse "grittiness" with being a destructive douchebag ruining it for everyone else. I'm pissed if this BS is actually true more than them just letting him go out there because he's the highest paid dude on the team.
