Those are extreme incidences.
For the most part, baseball has more unwritten rules about player etiquette on the field than the other sports.
The showboating and 'look at me!' acts have been suppressed for the large part the last 60-70 years. I'm not saying they are saints. I'm just saying baseball players conduct themselves better on the field.
And yeah I'm totally serious.
If the antics that went on in the NFL, and to a lesser extent the NBA, came over to MLB I'd be seriously turned off as a fan. But hey I'm a traditionalist.
