Apparently, the home plate ump is a golfer because he's been calling some "strikes" that look like they're about the same height as a golf ball on a tee.

This is pathetic. I just watched my football team get their asses kicked and now Hammer turns what could have been a big inning (after what we did last inning) into another bases empty, two out situation. And now that. Yuck.

Wainwright is at 98 pitches. Based on what LaRussa did yesterday, he'll probably get the 8th inning as well meaning we only get one inning to try to mount a rally against the Cardinals pen. That worked on Friday but not so much yesterday.
