Olsen (6-8, 4.03 era) vs. Cain (8-9, 3.57 era)

Cain in his career is 1-0 in 3 starts vs the Marlins with a mid 3 era. Last time we faced him this year, he went 6 getting a no decision in a 5-4 loss to the Marlins. Since the break he's been 3-2 with a 2.11 era in 6 starts.

Olsen is 1-2 in his career against the Giants with a skewed era because his awful 3.1 ip, 5 earned runs, 7 total performance earlier this year against the Giants. Bengie and Rowand murdered him in that game with 5 combined rbis.

I'm all about getting a catcher in the 2 hole, but Paulie wasn't who I had in mind. Not sure why he should get a shot at it without having done anything for us so far.

Baker's got all the stuff related to being in his home town going on and since we have a night game and then a day game, he wasn't going to play them both anyway. I have no problem with him getting the night off.

And considering we've gotten a grand pile of nothing from the 2 hole in the last couple weeks, I don't really see what the big deal is with Lo Duca hitting there. What's the worst that could happen? He goes 0/4? Not like that'd be something new.

I'm fine with Paulie hitting 2, it's just I'd like to see Bake get a shot there as well. Too bad he got the night off on the "wacky lineup shakeup night."
