T&B Draft Coverage Information, FAQ and Important Links

As you can see we have this special forum at the top of the board for the draft. In this forum contains two main discussion threads - Marlins draft and Non-Marlins draft.

I've explained in the latter what is preferred to be discussed there and everyone is already doing a great job in the Marlins thread. The main thing is just any play by play one would like to do should go in the non-Fish thread along with anything else that doesn't involve the direct discussion of the Marlins '08 draft.

You also see a few (all will be coming) threads for the Marlins' draft picks. The purpose of these threads is an all purpose information and discussion forum for that individual player. Any subsequent news for the player will go here and individual newsworthy posts will be linked on the soon to appear Draft ticker/news aggregator on the front page.

On the non-forum side each drafted player will be getting a comprehensive player profile that will be worked on as soon as the pick is made and (hopefully) live shortly after. There is going to be as much information in a variety of categories on the player's page. Additional information received through the player's discussion thread will be added and poster's will be rewarded with reputation and T&B Bucks.

If you don't usually visit the front page, there hasn't been a better time to do so as the main draft module will be updated in real time with selection info and links to any other draft news. A quick way to visually consume what is happening in the draft will be through the front page and that module.

This will all later be given its own static page.

• Marlins 'Live Look' | Instantly updated module showcasing top draft headlines, most recent selection, and important links

• Marlins Draft Discussion | All purpose Marlins specific draft discussion. We have quite a few draft junkies it seems so this should be an interesting ebb and flow of thoughts, questions and opinion.

• MLB Draft Discussion | Non-Marlins Draft Discussion as explained above where the draft 'game threading' will be going on.

• Player Specific Discussion | Where opinion on the specific player drafted will reside along with their on going signing saga and any other news regarding the player.

I'm really looking forward to T&B's first big 'event' and hopefully many of you will be around during the day and as we seemingly have quite a few draft buffs and as always many opinionated users, this should be fun.

I will leave this forum open for any questions specifically regarding what I've covered here and perhaps left out. Please refrain from any other discussion that could go elsewhere.

I wish I could have known about this site earlier and be able to contribute to this, but thrilled to have been there in person. Just got through reading all the draft related posts. Great stuff!
